The principal has the authority to assign students to classes. The principal is encouraged to seek input from the professional staff in making the decisions. The principal will consider written requests by parents for assignment or reassignment that provide a compelling reason for the request. However, any individual request must be balanced against the welfare of other students and the efficient operation of the school.
