School Improvement Plans

In accordance with Wilkes County Schools Board of Education Policy 3430, School Improvement Plan, school leadership teams at each school "are responsible for designing and implementing strategies to reach the educational goals of the board." Input from all stakeholders is instrumental in developing an educational program that addresses the needs of students and the community.

Wilkes County Schools uses the Indistar and NCStar platforms to create and monitor School Improvement Plans. This process is ongoing, and the information is updated regularly.

The links below go to the School Improvement Plan page on each school's website. These pages provide information for accessing the guest site for each school's plan. Logging into the guest site allows visitors to see the selected indicators and specific action steps the school has selected as part of their individual School Improvement Plan. Links are also provided to the Comprehensive Report, the Summary Report, and a list of the School Improvement Team Members.

If you have questions about the school improvement planning process, please contact Chief Academic Officer, Mrs. Callie Grubb ([email protected]).
