The Board of Education for Wilkes County Schools meets in the Arnold and Becky Lakey Boardroom located at 613 Cherry Street, North Wilkesboro, NC  28659. All meetings begin at 5:30 PM unless otherwise noted. The board meeting dates for the 2025-2026 school year are listed below. Meeting agendas will be posted and linked here no later than three days before the scheduled board meeting.
IMPORTANT REMINDER:  Anyone wishing to speak during the public comment portion of scheduled Wilkes County Board of Education meetings must complete the required form. Forms will be located outside the Arnold & Becky Lakey Board Room before the start of the meeting at 5:30 PM. Completed forms should be given to Loretta Shumate, board secretary, before the meeting begins.
