Meeting Agendas

The Board of Education for Wilkes County Schools meets in the Arnold and Becky Lakey Boardroom located at 613 Cherry Street, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. All meetings begin at 5:30 PM unless otherwise noted. The board meeting dates for the 2026-2027 school year are listed below. Meeting agendas will be posted and linked here no later than three days before the scheduled board meeting.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Anyone wishing to speak during the public comment portion of scheduled Wilkes County Board of Education meetings must complete the required form. Forms will be located outside the Arnold & Becky Lakey Board Room before the start of the meeting at 5:30 PM. Completed forms should be given to Loretta Shumate, board secretary, before the meeting begins.
