To create and maintain a safe, orderly, and inviting learning environment, students must have the skills to resolve conflicts in non-violent ways.
All schools are encouraged to include a conflict resolution plan in the school improvement plan as provided in Wilkes County Board policy 3430, School Improvement Plans.
The school curriculum committees will explore opportunities to integrate conflict resolution skills into the North Carolina mandated and other curriculum.
