Summer Professional Learning

A number of Professional Development opportunities are being offered during the summer months. In addition to the Digital Learning Conference being held from June 11-13 for DLC credits, there will be a variety of additional offerings hosted during summer break. Summer Driver's Education Classes Planned

Summer Driver's Education Classes have been planned for all four Wilkes school districts. Parent meetings are scheduled in June and July, and the $65 registration fee will be collected during these sessions. MPES Receives Lowe's Grant

Congratulations to Mount Pleasant Elementary for receiving a $50,000 grant from the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation Toolbox for Education. NC Cardinal Student Access

Wilkes County Schools and the Wilkes County Public Library are partnering to support students' ongoing education with an initiative called NC Cardinal Student Access. C. B. Eller Teaching Grants

The Winston-Salem Foundation is now accepting applications for C. B. Eller Teaching Grants. Full or part-time educators of Wilkes County Schools who directly interact with students are eligible to apply for grants of up to $1,500. The application deadline is March 19, 2018.
