Wilkes County Schools and the Wilkes County Public Library are partnering to support students' ongoing education with NC Cardinal Student Access. This program will create a student ID account for all students allowing them access to books and resources at the public library. WCS Awarded Digital Learning Grant

Wilkes County Schools was recently awarded a sizable Digital Learning Initiative grant from the North Carolina State Board of Education. Grant monies, totaling $149,756, will be used to fund a two year plan to support the implementation of digital teaching and learning professional development aligned to the NC Digital Learning Competencies. HS Theatre Performance this Weekend!

The Wilkes County High School Theatre Department will be presenting "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" this weekend (October 12-14). Performances will be held at the Stone Family Center for Performing Arts on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and on Sunday at 4pm. Concessions will be available at the show, and tickets will be sold at the door. Admission is $5 and kids 5 years and younger get in free.

WECHS Welcomes Back Students!

Superintendent Mark Byrd, Principal Michelle Shepherd, and the faculty and staff of Wilkes Early College High School welcomed back students to the 2018-19 school year on Monday, August 13th.
