Wilkes County Schools uses Zscaler for internet filtering. If you are experiencing problems with Zscaler, like seeing broken or blank internet pages that should display, please download the following certificate to your computer and follow the installation instructions below.
Note: This certificate installation works best when using Internet Explorer. Please use Internet Explorer to complete the following certificate installation.
STEP ONE: Download the Zscaler certificate by clicking on the file linked above and following these directions.
- You will be prompted with the following question, "Do you want to open or save the file"
- Choose Open
- When the certificate window opens, choose Install Certificate
- Click Next
- When the certificate store window opens, choose, “Place all certificates in the following store”
- Click Browse
- Select “Trusted Root Certification Authorities"
- Click OK
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- When the import has completed, click OK
- Click OK
