Safe Spot offers comprehensive, community-based services to children and families affected by sexual abuse or severe physical abuse. The center provides forensic interviews, child medical evaluations, victim advocacy, and case coordination services. For more information, call Safe Spot at 336-838-9169.
Our House / Child Abuse Prevention Team (CAPT)
Free in-home advice and referrals. Offers parenting classes, infant care supplies, coats for children and adults, and supervised visitations for families involved with the courts. SAFE (Sheltered Aid for Families in Emergency)
SAFE is a not-for-profit agency serving women, men, teens, and children whose lives have been affected by domestic and sexual violence. They've helped people in Wilkes since 1980. SAFE's sexual assault program serves victims of sexual assault through hospital response, crisis call response, advocacy, counseling, and psycho-education. All services are free and confidential.
