Welcome to Maintenance
The mission of the Wilkes County Schools Maintenance Department is to provide safe, orderly, inviting learning environments for our students. We strive to maintain each facility and keep them in good repair in order to promote atmospheres conducive to working and learning.
Our department is responsible for meeting the maintenance needs of 22 schools and three administrative facilities. These include 13 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 5 high schools, the WCS Administrative Offices, the bus garage, and the maintenance facilities.
