Wilkes County Schools and the Wilkes County Public Library are partnering to support students' ongoing education with an initiative called NC Cardinal Student Access. This program will create a student ID account for all students allowing them access to books and resources at the public library. This access will allow them to borrow and digitally access materials from their local library collection including hard copies of books, e-books, access to research data bases and other online materials. The library will be using the School System's student ID number to create the access. Parents may opt-out of the program by signing the opt-out letter or by writing a letter and turning it into the child's teacher. We thank the Appalachian Regional Library for providing our students with this great opportunity!
