WCS Awarded Digital Learning Grant

Wilkes County Schools was recently awarded a sizable Digital Learning Initiative grant from the North Carolina State Board of Education. Grant monies, totaling $149,756, will be used to fund a two year plan to support the implementation of digital teaching and learning professional development aligned to the NC Digital Learning Competencies. WCS recognizes the hard work and dedicated efforts of the Digital Learning Facilitators (Dr. Karri Adams, Julie Benton, Ramona Burkhart, Susan Caudill, and Sabrina Norman) and their supervisor, Julie Triplett, in securing these funds and are excited about the impact this award will have on teachers, students, and learning in our district! Congratulations to all!
