The Wilkes County Schools Human Resources department along with Horace Mann will be sponsoring a retirement seminar for all Wilkes County Schools employees. The workshop is intended for employees who are considering retirement prior to the start of the 2022-23 school year, considering future retirement, or an employee who would just like to learn about the North Carolina Teacher/State Employee Retirement System (TSERS).

The workshop will take place on Thursday, February 24th at 4:30 PM in the Stone Center for Performing Arts, located at 613 Cherry Street, North Wilkesboro. Below is a list of some of the topics that will be discussed.

If you are considering retiring, the paperwork process should begin no more than 120 days from the anticipated retirement date. Our department looks forward to seeing you on February 24th.
