Congratulations, Mr. Atwell!

We are excited to announce that Mr. Jeff Atwell, teacher assistant at Central Wilkes Middle School, was recently selected as a 2020 NC School Hero! The NC School Heroes program celebrates the heroic work of teachers, principals, and school workers who help students achieve their dreams. He was awarded $10,000 for himself and $10,000 for his school from the NC Education Lottery! Way to go, Mr. Atwell! We are so proud of you!
