WCS Receives Eleven New School Buses

Wilkes County Schools is excited to announce that we just received eleven brand-new school buses from the state! These will be replacing old buses in our current fleet. They should be transporting students to and from school very soon, so be watching for them out on the roads!

Spring Driver's Education Classes Planned

Four sessions of Driver's Education Classes have been planned for the Spring. There is one planned for each of the four school districts. Parent meetings are scheduled for February, and the $65 registration fee will be collected during these times. Exam Schedule and Calendar Updates

The High School Exam Schedule has been adjusted due to the days missed for snow. The first day of exams will now be January 17th. Please see school websites for detailed information. The end of the first semester is January 23rd. This day will also be the first make-up day due to inclement weather.
