Success Academy for Elementary Students

Wilkes County Schools will hold a Success Academy for students in grades 3, 4, and 5 at each elementary school at the end of the school year. The academy provides opportunities for remediation in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade reading and math and 5th grade science. It also provides students an opportunity to take EOG re-administrations in reading, math, and science if they did not meet proficiency.

Third grade students who do not meet proficiency standards on the EOG in reading may attend the Read to Achieve Summer Camp and retake the Read to Achieve Assessment at the end.
