DLC Training

All teachers and administrators are required to earn two DLC CEUs as part of the Licensure Renewal process. This equates to 20 hours of training. All training must target the ISTE Standards and requires the completion of a proof of practice in Wilkes County.

The following approved list of courses offers opportunities to earn DLC credits. Any session beyond those included in this list require prior approval by the Technology Department. Be sure to follow the procedures detailed at the bottom of this page regarding outside proposals to avoid taking a course that does not qualify for DLC credits. Please contact Julie Triplett, Chief Technology Officer, or any Digital Learning Facilitator with questions or prior approvals.

Check back often! This page will be updated throughout the year as new opportunities become available.

Current DLC District and Online Training Opportunities

DLC courses are included in the WCS 2023-2024 Professional Development Catalog. Remember that this is a living document. Additional offerings may be added during the school year. For this reason, it is recommended that this document NOT be printed.

Emails will be sent when DLC credits have been awarded for each session. DLC credits can be checked at any time through Timekeeper by clicking "CEUs" in the left menu under Employee Profile.
