The Wilkes County Hall of Fame was created to recognize citizens that have made invaluable contributions to Wilkes County and the world beyond. The Hall of Fame reinforces the message to youth that they too can and should strive for excellence in any endeavor of their choosing. By presenting significant and powerful role models, the Hall of Fame is a source of learning, inspiration, and hope for youth.
Grants are available in the areas of cultural arts, athletics, and physical education programs. Wilkes County Hall of Fame is offering grant funds for arts, athletics, band, chorus, music, drama, and physical education programs. Groups submitting grant applications must be affiliated with Wilkes County Schools and must present a project that has a positive impact on your school and our students.
