Parent Meeting: Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the East Wilkes High School cafeteria; this will be the only Parent Meeting for both sessions, and a parent/guardian must attend with their student
State law requires students to be 14½ on or before the first day of class.
Registration forms may be picked up in the front office or downloaded from the district website (Driver's Education Registration Form). Include the student's school email address (if applicable) and at least two (2) phone numbers.
Forms and the $65 course fee will be collected at the Parent Meeting. Please make checks payable to East Wilkes High School or bring exact change. Payment must be made before the beginning of class. Class rules and regulations will also be discussed at the Parent Meeting.
This is a 30-hour course, and all students must attend 30 hours of instruction. Only one absence is allowed and must be made up.
The class is open to all public school, private school, and homeschooled students.
