The Wilkes County Board of Education recognizes the valuable role of parents and guardians in working with the schools in helping students learn and practice acceptable standards of behavior. Parents are encouraged to participate in discussions on effective strategies for correcting misbehavior and appropriate consequences for violations of Board of Education policy or school standards or rules.
